                Finally morning came. We were taken back to the airport and were put on a commercial flight on a Pan Am 707 jet which would fly us to Okinawa. Once airborne I took one last picture of my last look at Vietnam and then fell into a deep sleep. After leaving Okinawa I again slept the entire 13 hour flight back to El Toro Marine Air Station. I realized that this was the first time in a year that I could actually sleep soundly and for more than just an hour or two.
